Langtree’s principle development focus revolves around bringing forward opportunities for sale or retention within the Group.  Our activity largely surrounds the delivery of industrial workspace and office buildings but also involves residential and retail development opportunities.  Our development portfolio extends across the country covering 75 sites and totalling over 1,735 acres. 

Langtree continues to be involved with a diverse range of development projects across the North West, Yorkshire, the Midlands and the North East. We are the largest provider of speculative floorspace for SME businesses having developed over 2.8m sq ft of space either directly as Langtree or through our joint ventures. In the North West alone, we have delivered over 1.8m sq ft of space working closely with Central Government and Local Authorities to deliver schemes of impact and quality. 

We are also involved in a number of strategic schemes which are significant in their own right on account of their size and impact. Schemes like Stadium in St Helens fall into this bracket requiring long term planning and management of often complex and multi-faceted issues.  Our relationship with partners is key to the delivery of all our schemes and we have successfully fostered an exceptional relationship with St Helens Council in delivering Stadium and before that, St Helens Chamber building, Mere Grange, Delph Court and Park Court.
