Joint Ventures

Langtree has a clear understanding of public and private partnerships, and has invested considerably at national, regional and local levels. Our diverse and growing portfolio reflects our ability to create effective partnerships and this accounts for a significant element of our activity.

Langtree has made a number of strategic long-term investments in property joint ventures where its money and expertise has delivered significant value to the partner organisation.

Sci-Tech Daresbury

Sci-Tech Daresbury is a private-public joint venture created in December 2010 between Langtree, Science & Technology Facilities Council (STFC), and Halton Borough Council.

The joint venture paves the way for the delivery of around 1 million square foot of space for science and innovation facilities, high-tech businesses and supporting infrastructure, bringing more than 6,000 new jobs to the area over the next 20 years.

Wire Regeneration

Wire Regeneration has been formed to drive regeneration and development activity in Warrington.

The partnership has been formed between Langtree and Warrington Borough Council, who will be represented and enabled by the town’s economic development and regeneration agency, Warrington & Co.

The joint venture will principally cover the town’s Southern gateway.

Parkside Regeneration

Parkside Regeneration, a joint venture between Langtree and St Helens Council, was established to acquire the former Parkside colliery site at Newton-le-Willows, St Helens.

Work has now begun on a development strategy to secure the long-term future economic benefit of the site.
